The Truth
How fast a German school reacts to bullying depends largely on which teacher you got. A verbal complaint disappears; a dated written incident log handed to the Klassenlehrer gives the school a paper record it cannot easily claim it never received. If you assume "the school will automatically protect my child", you will often be disappointed unless you document everything and push hard yourself.
