Unfortunately, Lehrermangel (teacher shortage) is a crisis in Germany. Contact the Schulleitung (Principal) or Elternbeirat to demand a substitute (Vertretung).

Tips

If the school does nothing, organize other parents to write a collective letter to the Schulaufsicht (School Authority).
