How do I transition from a language school to a university?

A

You need a C1-level certificate like TestDaF or DSH. Once you have it, apply via Uni-Assist or directly to the university's international office.

Tips

Apply for a Studienvorbereitendes Visum (study preparation visa) if you are still in the language phase; it makes the transition to a full student visa much smoother.

大学への正規入学には、TestDaF（各セクション4以上）やDSH-2といったC1レベルの公的語学証明書の提出が厳格な要件となっている。どれだけ専門分野の能力が高くても、この言語基準を満たさない限り、大学への入学許可および在籍登録（Immatrikulation）は認められない。
