How do I move my child to a different school?

You must find a school with an open spot, then de-register (Abmelden) from the old one and provide the Anmeldebestätigung to the new one.
Tips
Mid-year transfers are very difficult unless you have moved house. Most choice-based transfers happen only at the start of a new school year.
