What happens during the Zeugniskonferenz?

This is a meeting where all your child's teachers discuss and finalize their grades and social behavior comments for the report card.
Tips
If you think a grade is unfair, talk to the teacher before the conference. Once the Konferenz is over, changing a grade is legally and bureaucratically almost impossible.

通知表会議（Zeugniskonferenz）を通過して確定した成績は、法的かつ行政上の決定（Verwaltungsakt）となる。一度確定すると、成績の変更には校内の再審査や行政訴訟等の極めて複雑な法的手続きが必要となるため、事前の修正交渉しか実質的な変更の余地はない。
